As we come to the close of another year, the LSCP Executive would like to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to all our frontline practitioners, managers and staff. Your dedication, professionalism, and commitment to partnership working continue to make a real difference in keeping children and young people safe across Leeds.
This year, we’ve worked hard to strengthen the voice of practitioners within the partnership. Your insights and experiences have helped shape policy and practice, improving outcomes for children and families. We hope you feel that your voice matters, because it truly does.
As you know Leeds City Council’s Children and Families Services were rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted this year, making Leeds the first core city in the UK to achieve this highest possible grading three times in a row.
This achievement reflects the care, commitment, and relentless effort of colleagues across the city. Whether you work directly with children or support those who do, you have all played a vital role in making this possible.
As we look ahead to the new year, let’s continue to build on this success together. Thank you for everything you do to support the children and families in Leeds.
