Think Family, Work Family Learning Opportunities

In June 2019 Leeds Safeguarding Adults Board, Leeds Safeguarding Children Partnership  and Safer Leeds produced a revised Principles and Practice Guidance for Think Family, Work Family. This document is intended for all services working with children, young people and adults, and those who work with families in Leeds. The Principles and Practice Guidance was circulated in autumn last year and we know that some of you have already shared and discussed the new guidance in your teams.

To support this updated guidance the three partnerships have produced a Briefing Paper and will also be delivering a set of workshops.

Please find attached the Briefing paper, this is to enable team managers to share an update about the guidance within their teams. In this briefing paper there is also a series of questions for teams to discuss to look at how they may be able to improve practice.

We will also be running  some Think Family, Work Family workshops on:

  • Tuesday 21st April           09:30-12:00         and        13:00-15:30
  • Thursday 23rd April          09:30-12:00        and        13:00-15:30
  • Tuesday 28th April           09:30-12:00        and         13:00-15:30
  • Thursday 30th April          09:30-12:00        and         13:00-15:30
