All of our training courses are delivered from Shine in Harehills (unless otherwise stated).

Do you provide Level 3 Training?
 

Our Working Together to Safeguard Children and Young People course is equivalent to Level 3 training. This course is for those staff who work regularly with children and families and adults who are parents or carers (groups 3, 4 & 5 as defined in Working Together to Safeguard Children and Young People 2010. How many people from my organisation can book onto the same date?
 

We allow up to 5 people from an organisation onto a session to ensure our courses remain multi-agency.

 

How can I find out the dates of your training?
 

All of our training dates can be found on our website. We regularly update the course information and any training courses that are fully booked will not be available to book onto. We also publish a news bulletin with all available and new dates. To register for this please click here.

 

How will I know if I have a place on a training course I have applied for? 
 

When you have submitted your application form, you will receive an automated email confirming your booking. If you have not received an automated email, this means your booking was not submitted successfully.

Confirmation of training places will be sent out to all participants by email approximately three weeks before the course is due to run. If you haven’t been allocated a place you will also be notified of this approximately three weeks prior to the course. (Please do not attend unless you have received confirmation of your place (you may be required to show this on the day of the course).

 

Do you provide in-house training?
 

We don’t deliver in-house training however for any courses that are proving popular we will offer additional dates, keep checking our website for further details.

 

Why does the booking form ask for my billing details?
 

For those agencies to whom charges apply, charging details will be requested at point of application and billed on completion of the session. If a course is free to attend, we will still request your billing details for non-attendance purposes.

 

What are your 'working days'?                                                                                                                                                         

LSCP working days are Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
