Child to Parent Abuse
This session offers a brief introduction to the topic of Child to Parent Abuse.
Aggression or violence towards parents or other family members by children and young people is more common than most people realise. It is not often talked about because parents can feel embarrassed to admit it is happening. Violence towards a parent is an attempt to control or bully them and takes many different forms. It can often happen in the home but it can happen in other places too.
