Introduction to Family Help

The session will provide an outline of the children’s social care reforms, which are set out in The Families First Partnership (FFP) Programme Guide.

This session will focus on Family Help and how Leeds have adopted a ‘test and learn’ approach to ensure that babies, children, young people and families receive the most effective service when they need help.

The participants will come away with an understanding of the reforms and what Leeds are doing to shape services.

This training is being offered in response to legislative developments, to ensure practitioners are alert to changes which impact their practice.

The session is suitable for all practitioners working with children, young people and their families, senior leaders and managers.
