Keeping your child safe in sport – guidance for parents and carers

This session is for parents and carers of children who play sport or take part in out of school activities, and for all practitioners working with children and their families.

It is being offered as part of ‘Keeping Your Child Safe in Sport’ week; a national campaign run annually by the NSPCC. It is being promoted via LSCP to try and reach as many parents as possible, appreciating that many practitioners will be parents and carers of children who play sport themselves.

It will offer guidance around questions to ask of activity providers, as well as giving parents suggestions around support they can provide.
