Learning from children’s case reviews in Leeds - Improving practice together

Join us for an interactive learning session

The Leeds Safeguarding Children Partnership invites managers and practitioners to take part in a series of engaging sessions focused on learning from local children’s case reviews.

These reviews are carried out when a child dies or is seriously harmed, and abuse or neglect is a factor. Their purpose is to identify what can be learned and to reduce the risk of similar cases happening in the future.

These sessions offer a valuable opportunity to:

  • hear key learning from recent case reviews in Leeds
  • explore what this means for your day-to-day practice
  • reflect on how systems and services support (or challenge) good practice
  • take away practical learning and discussion points to share with your team

Delivered by:

  • David Derbyshire, Independent Scrutineer, Leeds Safeguarding Children Partnership
  • Phil Coneron, Assistant Manager, Leeds Safeguarding Children Partnership
