The Prevent Team are delivering a Virtual Prevent Awareness Training session on Thursday 25th April at 10am.
This training is open to anyone from the Third Sector, Statutory Organisations or Faith Establishments. It would be a perfect opportunity for those who don’t know what Prevent is or feel they need a refresher.
It is also a good opportunity for people who couldn’t attend previous sessions that we have delivered for their organisations.
It will provide an important overview of Prevent and will cover the following:
- The aims of Prevent
- The process of radicalisation
- Current risk and threat picture in Leeds
- What makes someone susceptible to radicalisation
- Signs and behaviour which may give you a cause for concern
- What support is available to you and people at risk in Leeds
