Open water like rivers and reservoirs might look safe but can be dangerous even for a strong swimmer #watersafety

On a hot sunny day, going for a swim might seem like a good idea but there are many hidden dangers. Don’t put your life at risk #watersafety

Even on an extremely hot day, open water can be incredibly cold, which can cause you to go into shock,  make swimming difficult and put you at risk of drowning #watersafety

Open waters are not meant for swimming and so have steep banks which are very difficult to get in and out of. Accidental drowning is preventable. Don’t put your life at risk #watersafety
