Safeguarding Processes

There are many different processes which take place to support the safeguarding of children and young people. These include processes which are in response to concerns or acts of harm or abuse, and those which are undertaken to reduce the potential risk of harm or abuse.

Some of these process are undertaken under a statutory duty, and some are voluntary, but all are seen to be effective in keeping children and young people safe from harm.

This section provides information and contact details for such processes within Leeds.
