The Child Friendly Leeds Awards, organised by a group of young people from Young People Productions celebrates the people, places and organisations helping to make Leeds a child friendly city.
In 2017 we were fortunate to be shortlisted for an award in the Overall Contribution to Child Friendly Leeds category, the award for the business, organisation, team or individual that has shown true commitment and made a meaningful contribution to making Leeds the best UK city to grow up in.
The awards are held in the historic City Varieties theatre which is a wonderful backdrop to an evening of entertainment and achievement.
As a member of the Student LSCP the event was really inspiring as it showed us how many talented young people there are in Leeds and how much Leeds focuses on the needs of children and young people.
